Better known as Sofitel Ia Ora Moorea, this resort is located along the amazing white sand beaches of the northeast coastline of Moorea. 20 Overwater and 19 Deluxe Overwater Bungalows are very private and all have a glass viewing area in the floor for an amazing look at your own living aquarium. Bungalows are furnished with king size famous Sofitel “My Bed” set in a contemporary Polynesian décor with hard wood floor and balcony patio overlooking lagoon and views of Tahiti. The standard overwater bungalow will accommodate 2 adults and 1 child but deluxe overwater will only allows a maximum of 2 people.

Tiki Village Theater is located off site from the hotel and is the best cultural experience in French Polynesia. Dr. Poole’s Whale Watching encounters wild dolphin and whales on the most exciting and informative eco tour in French Polynesia. Led by marine biologist Dr. Michael Poole’s research team, Dr Poole and his team have been conducting research on French Polynesia’s whales and dolphin since 1987. Ask our specialists to arrange a tour. Whale season is July to November, with year round dolphin and pilot whale watching.
