Leilani Doucet Profile "I was born as Leilani Meiri Raurii Doucet and raised on the most romantic and picturesque island of Bora Bora. My family are true natives of the Society Islands and when tracing my ancestry back to the 1800's, my grandmother was a princess on Pora Pora, the Tahitian name for the island of Bora Bora as we know it today. In the early 1900s my Aunt Reri "Anna Chevalier", at age 15 became the first Tahitian movie actress staring in the legendary silent film"Tabu" , filmed entirely on Bora Bora. Some other films to her credit include " The Black Pearl", and "The Hurricane". She was also a member of the Ziegfeld Follies. "I have worked in the travel industry for more than 15 years. Prior to that, I had worked for some landmark hotels within our sister islands of Hawaii. It was during that time when I became an American Citizen.
