Jean Louis Delezenne Profile

As a young traveler, Jean Louis reached the shores of French Polynesia some 20 years ago. Quite the change from the winters of his native home of Northern France. One week later, a passionate dreamer left the islands. That dreamer was Jean Louis Delezenne. When he returned to France, he made a promise to himself that one day he would return to Tahiti not as a visitor but as an adopted native resident of these islands.
"My years of experience in both the travel and hospitality industry gave me the opportunity to move a little closer to Tahiti and 20 years ago I moved to Los Angeles. Working first for an airline and then for a travel agency made me realize that my talents were not utilized to their highest potential. My family then acquired a small bamboo house on the island of Moorea. The house is situated on the beach with a proverbial artist living next door. He manages to capture on canvas, the beautiful paintings of wild dolphins and whales that are playing just offshore outside the coral reefs. This reinforced my vision and wish to work one day in Tahiti."

"The incident that cemented my decision to branch out on my own happened to be a VIP opera singer who was planning his wedding and honeymoon through the travel agency. That agency had made several requests through a tour operator on behalf of the client in attempt to ensure a magical trip for this lifetime experience. By coincidence I was home in Moorea, just prior to the guest's arrival, only to find that the requested details were not conveyed to the relevant parties involved.
I intervened on this clients behalf and thus prevented what would have been a complete disaster by working locally, hand in hand, with the resort's management and VIP Services, thus creating an unforgettable and memorable holiday for the opera singer and his new wife. I had opened a direct line of communication and personal relationship with the management of the hotel, and is now one of the many I now have with all resorts in French Polynesia. My reward for all my hard work was an impromptu performance of "Bali Hai" with the back drop of Opunohu Bay beneath the most incredible full moon and silver seas. Every experience deepens my passion for Tahiti.

Fly Tahiti changed from a vision to a reality after this occurrence, and my primary focus on providing our clientele with the highest levels of personal customer service both prior to and during their trip and in the return visits that follow with all good experiences. Fly Tahiti is represented by a staff of 10 on the island of Tahiti and a staff of destination specialists on the mainland in Huntington Beach, California."
Our local staff in Tahiti makes it their own mission and responsibility to personally review each guest's itinerary details, preceding the clients arrival. Having this local presence gives Fly Tahiti the flexibility and ability that larger tour operators are lacking when it comes to last minute changes, direct local communications between the islands, hotels, airlines, and land & sea transfer services, or in personally handling those extraordinary requests.
Our Fly Tahiti Specialists provide you with every service and information about your resort and destination prior to your travel, with full service from the time of your booking until you depart. We contact every hotel & resort personally about your important arrival, special occasion, and personal preferences. In addition, we provide all our clients with a detailed travel journal as part of their travel documents with information sheets on each island you are visiting and the local contacts, activities, restaurants, and excursion options.
